That's not how you spell Wembley Stadium Seriously, you want a legit 100K? Come over here. we SEAT for 90 Spot on. Yes, I'm biased, but Vince, if you want to be properly international like 'WORLD Wrestling Entertainment' would suggest, then you have to go international with big shows (no pun) It's been 25 years since a marquee event hit our shores, and let's not lie, it was a huge success. With the right build and card, it would replicate the success. Time could be an issue, but as touched upon, the network might help. Those avid enough to watch would make sure they did whatever the hour. Hence I got home at 6am after mania 32 and was at work for 7:30. Seriously, let's try London......

NOLA is fine. I take no issue with the choice, but that'll be two in five years.
Spread the wealth a bit, no?

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff would be a better option. Wembley has a strict curfew (11PM local time/7PM EST), Cardiff doesn't. Cardiff has a roof, Wembley doesn't. Cardiff has shown it can draw 50,000 for Joe Calzaghe v a scrub starting in the early hours of the morning, and the WWE has a much bigger fanbase than Calzaghe ever did. Plus the Motorpoint is ideal for Access, only downside is finding somewhere for Raw.
However, the real reason that Mania won't happen in the UK any time soon is because cities bid for Mania. Cities throw money towards hosting it knowing that they will generate the income back. US cities have a long tradition of this thanks to the likes of the Superbowl. In the UK, we don't. We bid for huge events like the Olympics, World Cup, Commonwealth Games, European Championships (Soccer), World Athletics Championships, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup. But these events are bid for by the organisations that control the sport (British Olympic Association/Football Association/British Athletics/Rugby Footbsll Union/England & Wales Cricket Board). There is no similar body of a significant size for wrestling in the UK, and if there were, the WWE would treat it as a competitor. While that's the case, Wrestlemania isn't coming to the UK.

I really don't think the time difference should be a hindrance to a UK WrestleMania.
UFC ran a show in Manchester in November and scheduled it for the regular EST start time of 10pm, making it 3am local time. It was still sold out.
Now, the big differences are obviously A. Saturday night vs. Sunday night and B. The number of kids who attend WWE events vs. UFC, but the point is, the time change shouldn't preclude a UK event.

I'm between Milwaukee & Indianapolis, WWE. Pick one and I'll go. We got a centralized system of hotels, event centers, & facilities for promotional purposes. And an indoor stadium that can host 75,000-80,000. If it ever comes back, I'm going.

Wrestlemania is never going to be overseas. You can talk about the network helping time and whatever but it just won't happen.

Wasn't there going to be a Mania in Minnesota or did I dream that? There's always talk, it never happens. Vegas, Minnesota, and Boston are the ones that IMO deserve it most. And if it's Boston, how about a live performance by Dropkick Murphys?

Wasn't there going to be a Mania in Minnesota or did I dream that? It was "set" to be in Minneapolis until Orlando stepped in with an offer that WWE couldn't refuse. Comes down to what buildings the cities will give up (how cheap, etc) and how much they'll wine and dine them. Having a slight bit of inside to it, WWE had hotels booked for it and venue dates on hold. I WISH it would be in Minneapolis. Selfishly it's the city I want them to go to the most in regards to my location. 2019 won't/can't happen with the NCAA Final Four in US Bank Stadium. Next shot for Minneapolis will be 2020.

Saturday night vs. Sunday night and B. The number of kids who attend WWE events vs. UFC, but the point is, the time change shouldn't preclude a UK event. No, the big difference is the venue. The UFC event is not comparable. Firstly, that was held in an indoor arena in another city. Secondly, and you point it out yourself, the audience for the UFC is not exactly WWE's demo anymore. The big problem is that Wembley Stadium has a strict 10:30pm local time curfew or theres very large financial penalties incurred. The show has to be over by then because of the local noise laws. This means that Mania has to start by about 6pm local at the absolute latest, making it 1pm EST and 10am PST start time. That's just not going to happen with Mania especially considering all the extraneous things WWE does with Mania, from watch parties, to PPV sales (non-network) and promotional things. It's not an easy thing for them to take the biggest show of the year, and year to year its basically the biggest show of all time, and just plop it in another country that has very few tangible venues that would appeal to WWE + unavoidable time zone issues. They can't start it at 10-11pm local and Wembley is really the only logical venue in the UK because of its prestige. They're not going to hold it in Cardiff. Tape delay is not an option anymore. UK Mania IMO is a pipe dream for the moment. It's not even worth talking about seriously.

I'd like for them to go back to Madison Square Garden Unless the Garden holds 75,000 that night, it's never going back there. Metlife Stadium can hold 80,000+ assuming they'd be up for another outdoor mania.

Still waiting for Washington DC to get some WM love Bro it's never coming here. It might make some sense to coincide with the Cherry Blossoms but that's already a shit show. We don't have the stadium unless Vince is perfectly content holding it at Nats Park. Fedex Field is a dump.
