It's pretty obvious he's lost a step in the ring but his personality still remains top notch. He's a veteran so his ring generalship can help him withstand losing that step.
However, when he losses another half a step or even a full step is it time to pull him from the ring and make him a manager? Does he have the chops to do it; of course. It would all come down to desire and how much shine he would actually put on the talent instead of himself.
I don't see him as a commentator and his next optimal role would more than likely be in creative if anything else. How long until he moves to next step and what do you think it will be ?

Jericho I think might be just too big to be a manager. Who would you pair Y2J with that he wouldn't just outshine instantly?
