Sure, as long as they are cleared medically by the athletic commission. Glad you agree  If they're not cleared medically that is when interim titles should come into play. Although I'd do away with the interim title altogether in a perfect world. Champs injured would be stripped and put as number one contenders if they were unable to defend their title within 6 months of the last defense. I get why that isn't the case though and we have stuff like interim titles. After an interim title main event sells better than a non-title main event. |
