Is it going to stick. I mean I like that as the heel in the CW division he doesn't have the flashy red arrow finish. I wonder how long it's going stay in play somewhat akin to Dolph when he was using sleeper hold

It's genius. A move that looks so simple has been turned into a bullet once again. Not only that, it protects the Red Arrow. In a way it's Neville saying "Well you can't beat my Superplex, there's no way you're beating the Red Arrow."

If Rollins doesn't use it to set up another move anymore I'll be cool with it. Also it's an Orton 2 count spot and I don't see that going away.

I kind of consign it to the same category I do the DDT where it's been a generic filler move for so long that I can't take it seriously as a finish anymore.
The superkick is also rapidly getting there.

The superkick is also rapidly getting there. Alexa has the DDT as her secondary finisher and Ambrose's Dirty Deeds has been heavily protected. Seems today's group of wrestlers are at least trying to protect these moves.

Plus, they could write it as Neville deciding that the fans don't deserve to see the Red Arrow finishing matches.

Barry Windham and Bob Orton Jr. would be proud.

It makes sense. The Red Arrow is a flashy move that the crowd always pops for.
He's a heel. He's not supposed to do the big moves that makes the crowd pop.
Superplex is about as basic and generic for a top rope Cruiserweight finishing move as you can get.

If Rollins doesn't use it to set up another move anymore I'll be cool with it. Also it's an Orton 2 count spot and I don't see that going away. Yeah I hope Rollins stops using it as a transition now. Orton I would let keep using it since it is a legacy move for him and he only goes to the second rope best I can remember.

A diving finisher can be played for heel heat. Kidman, and Justin Gabriel both managed it, but the Red Arrow has gotten too over for that purpose. He'd have to switch to the 630 and have the announcers talk about it doing unnecessary damage or something, and I doubt WWE would clear that.
The Superplex, though: I love it. He makes it look a million dollars.

Between the look of the move and Neville's ability it would be a killer heel finish. Ali's is good but I just wish it went the other way.

Haven't seen it yet but I find it amazing as a superplex equals death in my head. I find this idea wonderful.

Doesn't hurt that the WWE has for the most part protected the move usually only getting a two because the guy doing the move is usually sells the impact as well... (save for Rollins' recent Superplex falcon arrow malarkey)

I would love it if he went up like he was about to do the red arrow but instead just does an elbow drop or driving punch instead.
