Goldberg does it again. Here's hoping SDL beats them again (though that chance is probably around nil).

Goldberg does it again. Here's hoping SDL beats them again (though that chance is probably around nil). The other thing being, of course, that ratings work in a funny way where Raw wins simply by having a third hour.

That Goldberg segment already has over 2M views after being up less than 2 days. Man, he's definitely that dude.

Do you think they will bring up this drop off on the next 'Bring It To The Table'?

WCW Superstar Bill Goldberg saves the WWE's faltering ratings yet again. I love it.

Although it might seem counterintuitive at first, Vince could've made more money or secured even better ratings if, on RAW, he advertised hardcore for Smackdown with a line like, "The show everyone is racing to see: find out why Smackdown has now *passed* Monday Night RAW as WWE's most watched show!"
It's fuzzy semantics and does nothing to hurt the viewership of RAW (that people are going to recognize as the flagship they're still loyal to) while bringing more people to make plans for seeing what all this fuss is about.
And I don't mean have a Smackdown commish passive aggressively and smugly bringing it up. I mean a genuine endorsement from a celeb, HHH, or even Vince himself. Another case of dropping the ball if you ask me.

Another case of dropping the ball if you ask me. The problem, though, is that Goldberg's success really does WORSE for Smackdown's success in the long run. If Raw still lost to Smackdown, then the message is clear: "Well-written storylines are what the fans want, and Smackdown having more of a well-written show based on stories and character development beats Raw's moment-heavy, generic, bland shows that are just there." By this, that hurts that message instead, and REALLY sends the message "Smackdown won last week because John Cena came back. There's no problems at all."

Goldberg seems to be the only big needle shifting draw left in wrestling. Wow Yep, and they're going to sacrifice him to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

We don't know that, I mean who saw the Survivor Series stuff coming? I wouldn't be shocked if they talked Goldberg into a short term, Lesnar like title run post-Mania at this point. I can easily see Goldberg v. Braun, Goldberg v. Roman, Goldberg v. Roman and Goldberg v. Owens. Hell, maybe even Goldberg v. Taker or Cena at Summerslam.

Goldberg seems to be the only big needle shifting draw left in wrestling. Wow Just like Lesnar,Rock,Batista,Sting etc. it's a lot of excitement for someone people haven't seen in years. Eventually after a few appearances they are not needle moving anymore. Everyone forget the shitty buy rates for Rock-Cena vs Awesome Truth SS
