Redboxed this earlier. It's not offensively bad as it is just bland. It's like they took The Other Guys, squeezed the funny out of it like an orange. The pulp left is Daddy's Home.
Linda Cardellini is stunning though.
I wouldn't bother unless it's on Netflix and you just want something on.

I thought it was mostly "meh" when I watched it. I didn't mind it, but I enjoyed The Other Guys much more. I liked Cena's cameo at the end.

I bought it when it came out, but haven't watched it yet.

It's alright. The movie was too mean spirited. What I mean by that is I'm actually kind of getting sick of the trope that the lead is lazily unmercifully picked for the sake of it while the cool antagonist were suppose to cheer for comes more across as annoying than likeable.
Like there's really no reason why were suppose to laugh at Will Ferrells misfortunes and cheer for Wahlberg. Like there's no set up, no sympathy building, no absurdity, no needing to be put in place, no tragedy, it just feels like a studio executive just said let's put Will Ferrell in a movie where he gets shit on by Mark Wahlberg because The Other Guys was a success. But unlike The Other Guys there is a reason why the mean spiritness works.

Shame the Cena reveal got out early, because that's really the only part of it worth much mention.
