Remember a show where a woman with long hair would play a harp and tell children stories? What was the name of it?

I don't recall this at all. Neither do I, but I still gave it a search. It actually ran for about 18 years

I'm Canadian and remember tons of kids shows from that period, like Mr. Dressup, Fred Penner's Place, Under The Umbrella Tree, The Elephant Show, but I've never heard of this one.

Thanks. I feel like it was one of those shows that I only watched because it was on right before I had to leave the house for school

FINALLY! Someone else who remembers! I remember I once spent about 2 hours on Wikipedia trying to find the name of that show (it was Kids Can Rock & Roll, btw).

About four years ago, me and a few buddies went to The Rivoli, this bar on Queen Street in Toronto that is a bar in the front, live music and comedy venue in the back and a pool hall upstairs. We went to shoot pool for a bit and we were going to check out the band downstairs afterwards and it was Fred Penner! He did pretty much all of his kids songs in front of a room of people in their 20s and 30s who grew up on him. It was great. Afterwards, we bought him a shot and got a picture with him. He was super friendly and seemed really touched that all of these people still remembered him after all these years.

I've actually seen Scott Thompson and Mark McKinney hanging out there at various times.

Red Green Show was a cool show. The Iowa PBS still aired it on Saturday night, right before classic Doctor Who. It seem like both show have cult following in my state.
