MAn. There are a lot of agreement between the big four reviewers in ProJared, AngryJoe, Jim Sterling and Yahtzee, especially in the Division and Homefront: The Revolution.

Mafia III? Hmmm. I didn't love it but I don't think I'd say it was one of the worst of the year.

I don't know enough to comment on Homefront, but my circle of PS4 friends all got The Division on day 1, and we've had multiple talks about the game. They continue to trudge through it, but you can tell talking to them they clearly aren't enjoying it. They think the gameplay itself is spot on, but everything else is trash. Even just a few days ago, one of those friends had a glitch where their image kept tearing (this is on a digital copy) and all they could do to fix it was to delete the game and all the DLC/updates (of which there are several) off the hard drive. At launch, they kept trying to get me to buy it to join them, and now anytime I consider it, they aren't so keen to it. But then they won't play Overwatch or Doom because they're "pretty sure" they wouldn't like it...well, one of them doesn't think anyone on their friend list would play Overwatch (despite the fact I've invited him to join the group I play with anytime, and he's said in-party "oh [xXJohnDoeXx] got on Overwatch").

Mafia III? Hmmm. I didn't love it but I don't think I'd say it was one of the worst of the year. Joe's argument was that while the game utilized cinematic elements & the soundtrack perfectly, the game itself was linear, had no actual variety (each section had the same mission pattern), & failed to utilize things that would enhance the atmosphere, like spending money on wardrobes, cars, & safehouses. Though this is only games he did play. That's why there's no Mighty No. 9. And I still say the worst game of 2016 was Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers.

Was it great? No. But it was still an enjoyable game and I liked what I played from it. I also liked the cheesy voiceovers.

It's always sad to see the reaction to No Man's Sky because of how amazing it could have been.

Wait, they made another horrible Ghostbusters game last year? Man, that franchise is cursed when it comes to video games.
After finally watching the AVGN movie a couple of weeks ago, I'd like to imagine they just took the original NES game and remade it with modern day graphics.

I can't speak for anything else but my pals and I played through the Division, had a good time with it until it got old, then put it away. Sometimes I wonder what people expect, some games are good for a while and then aren't anymore. Not everything's fit to be played forever, didn't come away from it thinking it was bad in any way.
