Omega signed a new contract with NJPW so I think this time he is just joshing about this year Not entirely true. Omega's deal that he's still on has an option. He is going to basically be a free agent. As recently as two days ago he said he was leaving Japan indefinitely. The option kicks on the 31st. He can essentially go anywhere at that point. twitter.com/KennyOmegamanX/status/817323227886125056I don't think Cena posts this just to mess with the fans especially consideing if Omega was under contract this would cause even more issues between NJPW/WWE. He's not Jericho and the last time he did this, it happened (AJ). It's also clear that WWE has been chasing Kenny for a while. They very easily could've made him the offer that it would take to bring him in. Conversely, just as it could be Cena messing around, it could also be approved by the company. There's smoke here and should not be written off. I would bet on Omega in WWE in 2017 at this point. By no means in this statement do I suggest its definitive, just that if there was an option to put money on it, I would.

Cena later clarified that he meant to upload this to his Photobucket account in the folder "Boys I Want to Kiss"

I'm still hoping if he does show up in the WWE he makes it in time for NXT Takeover Brooklyn III.

Omega is still getting his legacy set out there so I do not see him in WWE for a good while

Hope it's true. Have my doubts. As good and and as recognizable as he is, he won't get the response AJ Styles got at the Rumble unfortunately if he debuts this year

Cena's picture of AJ from "4 days earlier" is from 2008 at the latest, I'd wager. He isn't saying that picture is from four days earlier... Cena posted that picture of AJ on Instagram 4 days before AJ debuted in the Rumble. It's weird you thought Cena assumed AJ could grow that much hair in 4 days.

Having a date superimposed on an image generally gives me the impression that the poster thought the picture was from that particular date, it's hardly a leap. I wasn't aware that this was somebody posting a collection of Cena's instagrams, I thought it was one instagram post from Cena. I don't have instagram so for that, I apologise.

I'd run vignettes for weeks letting everybody know what a big f***ig deal Kenny Omega is and then debut him in a high-profile match on a PPV.

Lot of questions though...do you bring him in as a face like Styles due to anticipating positive crowd responses and then turn him? Who is his first match? Jericho? Basically how do you take a big f***ig deal and make sure people that don't know him realize that he is a big f***ing deal?

And on the Omega front, I have to imagine he's got at least a couple more years in Japan left in him before buying into WWE. Granted he's incredibly hot right now, but I still think he's got some more room to really max out before taking a WWE deal.

Why do people want Kenny Omega in the WWE so badly? They have enough people that they're hardly doing anything with as it is. They don't need to sign every single wrestler under the sun. Kenny's been kicking ass in NJPW, taking it to new heights and leading them in their global expansion. I'd hate to see that snuffed out. This is exactly how I feel about the 'Omega to WWE' obsession people have now post-WK. This post is totally spot on. Just let Kenny be the man in Japan. Besides, Kenny's still relatively young. He has plenty of time to come to WWE if he really wants to(which, at least on the surface, is a hard no right now).

I think one of the benefits of running the vignettes is that you'll be able to kinda choose how Omega will be received, whether he's a face or heel. I'd have vignettes with guys who know him like AJ, Owens, Cesaro, Zayn and Gallows and Anderson talking about just who he is. You establish that this is thebest wrestler in the world outside of the WWE. I think a lot of WWE fans know who he is, but I don't know how many. Certainly he's not nearly the profile of Styles. I think the vignettes will help raise that profile.

They should troll us hard. At the Rumble, dress one half of the Spirit Squad up as the Samoan Bulldozer, and call him Kenny Umaga.

I think this is just him tipping his cap to Omega. I don't see him coming to WWE right now.

Entering 2016, I didn't care for Omega at all. I still think his push was rather rushed, but he impressed me a lot and I'd like to see him stay in New Japan. There's a lot left for him to do.
