I've been waiting to see Elle for a while, but it still hasn't come to Grand Rapids yet. Was able to catch Things to Come this weekend, and Huppert was great.

La La Land runs the gauntlet, winning all 7 Globes it was nominated for. I checked it out last night. It's a damn good movie but {Spoiler}the ending ruins the entire movie.

It's honestly my favorite movie of the year, narrowly edging out Moonlight. {Spoiler}I can completely understand where you're coming from with the ending. It was starting to let me down with about 15 minutes left, but somehow it managed to completely turn me around on it by the time it ended.

January 8th will forever be the night Jimmy Fallon killed comedy forever more.
RIP Comedy, you had a great run.

I got more excited seeing Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed together again than any other thing that happened on tonight's Golden Globes.

Very happy that Olivia Colman won. Not only was she the only one not over-acting in The Night Manager but she's brilliant in just about everything she does.

I have something in common with winner Claire Foy. We were both born in the same hospital. Stepping Hill in Stockport, Greater Manchester. My mum before we emigrated also was a nurse at that hospital.
Yeah that's a long bow, but there you go.

Claire Foy was always going to be a star. She was even able to put in a good performance in "Season of the Witch", overcoming the terrible performance of Nicholas Cage trying to drag her down.

Is this a bit or is Goldie Hawn too drunk for TV? Blow in her ear and she'll follow you anywhere!

Not watching rn, but I can only imagine what the person on stage is talking about. Since I don't wanna do anything that could possibly toe the line on the rules, I'll just say that you're most likely correct in your assumption. ANd of course, I did the stupid thing and checked to see if I was right. Needless to say, I was right. This. Remember when everyone made fun of whether [redacted] would ask for a recount of [redacted] if [redacted]? Funny how things end up, eh? As for bullying, was there not a recent video where [redacted] happened too? /Censored to avoid the big grey lock. //God bless the DSA! ///Because lord knows no one will stop reminding me that that's still very much a thing.

I'm starting to feel bad for the cast of The Americans, not only does hardly anybody watch their efforts but they can't win any acting awards either.
Except for Margo Martindale who once managed to get an award for a glorified cameo.

Glad to see La La Land and Emma Stone and Baby Goose getting so much love. Its an absolutely amazing film on all fronts and I typically stay away from Musical-Ish pieces.
