Holy shit, Grizz is still wrestling?? Always marked for him  Also running in the wrestle factory is cool I guess, if it gets more promotions exposure that'd be cool. Also get the CHIKARA boys more work. And maybe get some of the other guys some bookings WITH CHIKARA, could be a scouting time for Quack. Also Tracey Williams working this show is pretty ironic if you know who he is, lol this is pwe's 6th show. they have been having a tough time finding a venue in nj. erik viking or sly stetson whichever you prefer has said this is a one time thing at the wrestle factory. quack doing him a favor. maybe having something to do with delirious would be my guess. they have heavily used chikara guys since their inception with a mix of roh guys old and new. the shows have a wrestling is respect like vibe. specifically the main events. i love seeing chikara guys work outside the chikara bubble. i mean i want them in chikara but it is interesting seeing them work in a different atmosphere. and yes hot sauce wrestling at the wrestle factory again is ironic. i was annoyed that he was not in the jki but whatever. Interesting that it's a One Time Thing, because if Quack could get some good events and draws for other shows at The WrestleFactory it wouldn't be too bad of an idea I would think. If the promoters can pay and not conflict with your schedule, and yknow have a good roster and reputation, I don't see the harm in it. Plus if guys who aren't in CHIKARA get over well, maybe they can find a way in to the brand. It wouldn't have to be an all the time thing, but Philly and the PA Area, and the surrounding NY, NY, CT area have always had a deep Indy Pool even down to the local shows. I dunno, just a thought, especially considering CHIKARA needs some talent right now, mixing some new blood in wouldnt hurt, plus CHIKARA used to be a promotion all about showing off new or just unrecognized talent from the Indies. And I feel like this is the year they're wanting to get back into that, at least I hope so, they need to. |

Heard a rumor that CHIKARA might be putting out Los Ice Creams costumes for kids around Halloween. If that's true and some kid turns up at my door dressed as one of those I'm going to give them all the candy I got and turn out my lights for the night. They won Halloween. 🎃

Watch the new Ophidian / Whisper win the Rey de Voladores tournament. I wonder if he will claim to be a two time champion. I'm curious to see if the character is obsessed with being Ophidian. I'm still trying to understand his motivation for taking the character identity for himself.

My thoughts of the night.
I love the Bike Cops. Chris Brookes of the CCK spat water all over me, dirty knacker. Good strong match to start night off.
House Bodyslam sucks, worst match of the night.
House of the Seven Seas are great, was awesome seeing Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm again in House Revival, FWA chants all match. Fleisch reminds me so much of 2 Cold Scorpio now.
British Strong Style Vs Whitewolf was another fantastic match. Trent Seven nearly got impaled taking a suicide five on the shitty ass chairs we got. Adam Chase I think did a moonsault to the outside and landed on a ring crew members arm, scared it was broken. First exposure to Whitewolf, they're great.
House of Sport Vs Casa Dorada was another fun match, Mal Sanders f***ing stunk of old man. Haven't watched Chikara in years so was surprised this jobber Juan Francisco is now champion, he sucks. House of Sport took most of the match, Juan had to use the ropes. His goons look like Gotham's Jervis Tetch.
House Fight Club Vs House Furies, again another great match. McKenzie should not be suplexing guys, Huckabee got dropped on his head countless times.
House Sendai Girls Vs Xyberhawkx was my match of the night. Blue Hawk crushed the shit out of Chisako with a senton, the gold Hawk went for a Hilo on to Cassandra but caught himself on the top rope and nearly died. Meiko was super f***ing over, she seemed really appreciative too.
Was surprised that Throwbacks Vs Attack was the main. The Brothers of Obstruction were just local guys the Hunter Brothers with fake mustaches on. Simon Gotch is f***ing huge, you don't realise when he's in the land of the giants. Another great match, just surprised it main evented over Sendai or Strong Style.
