My prediction is that Cena goes over AJ at the Rumble. Then the Undertaker wins the Royal Rumble.
Kevin Owens will either face a returning Finn Balor or Samoa Joe.
This leaves programs open for AJ, Dean, Roman and Seth. The most logical way to fit them into the WM Mania card without having to involve them in the title picture is to set up some angle with Anderson/Gallows attacking Reigns and Rollins. AJ and Dean come over for Smackdown for a one off reunion between the Sheild and the Club.

Keep those goofs Gallows and Anderson away from my Shield.

This idea's been mentioned in other threads. It wasn't well received.

The Club really hasn't been well protected in the last six months. Right now it'd look less like an epic gang showdown and more three ex world champions vs. AJ and his flunkies.
Heck, New Day vs. Shield seems like it'd have more weight to it at this point.

I agree with Anderson and Gallows not posing a serious threat at this point, which they could have been protected since spliting from AJ. The turning point was the Anderson/Gallows vs. New Day feud, which ending up making A&G look like goofs. A&G should have come out as serious ass kickers. Instead, they were cutting promos in those ridiculous doctors clothes and making corny jokes. WWE turned what could have been a serious heel team into comedy heels team to combat the comedy babyface which was mega over.

If they could somehow get Omega, Balor and AJ vs. Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose, that could be big money. But after taking a second look, yes, the emascuated Anderson and Gallows would not belong in a high profile match at this point with the other 4 superstars.

It could be possible with Good Bros. vs. Rollins and Reigns on Raw and AJ vs. Ambrose on SD in the build, but there is no way Shield isn't squashing Club.

Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles, sponsored by 4 lame friends that tagged along.

I did fantasy book something similar, but I'm not expecting it.

With HHH and Seth being expected at Mania, I doubt it. Reigns will probably be champion, and Dean may still be Intercontinental champion, so they'd have their own things to deal with than some random six man.

Finn, Omega and Styles vs Roman, Ambrose and Rollins? Hell yeah I'm down for that!

In a showdown with the Shield, honestly I'd genuinely take Styles more seriously with the Hype Bros backing him up than I would with Gallows and Anderson.

I'd take the Shining Stars more seriously as a threat than Gallows and Anderson. If you really want a 6 man tag involving AJ and The Shield, just do AJ, Miz, and Baron Corbin vs The Shield, with the Phenomenally Awesome Wolves standing tall at the end.

Finn, Omega and Styles vs Roman, Ambrose and Rollins? Hell yeah I'm down for that! yup that's the version of the Club I was about to post to face the shield as equals. except for the roman most likely winning the belt at the rumble to take his availability away for mania

The Club has been buried. AJ they couldn't help but push. If he didn't get the response he did, they would have buried him just like they did Gallows and Anderson.
The Club is a buried concept in the WWE, I don't think by accident. They'd sooner book Nexus versus Shield.

Can't imagine Reigns and Rollins not having higher profile matches than anything the Club could provide.

Reigns defending the fruit roll up against Strowman and Rollins getting the rub by facing the GOAT HHH is pretty much set in stone at this point.
