Yes, I know gender neutral matches is a gigantic no no in WWE but strictly an an athletic competition I'd love to see AJ vs Sasha.

James Ellsworth doing the Andy Kaufman 'intergender wrestling champion of the world' gimmick but constantly losing like someone suggested on here would be gold. They could choreograph it so it would be strictly comedy and not 'violent' in any way, so it wouldn't come across as the sleazy exploitative intergender matches you see on the indies. They're halfway there with him interfering in Carmella's matches.

The one to finally defeat Asuka and the first ever male NXT Women's Champion... Samoa Joe!
Or his twin sister Samoa Joanne?

None. The possibility of either wrestler winning is a big appeal to me and intergender matches don't have that.

Charlotte vs. Jack Gallagher.
It's really THE defining matchup to determine if man vs. woman can work in the WWE:
On the one hand, you have the woman vs. the man angle...BUT, on the other hand, the matchup is perfect as the test run for man vs. women in all forms.
You take the biggest heel in the women's division on one side, AND the most proven champion of the women (and thus, in kayfabe, the woman who'd be most likely to survive against men).
You put her against a cruiserweight division babyface- which counts, as if man vs. woman is going to happen in WWE, it needs to start by women entering the cruiserweight division before you even think of heavyweights.
SPECIFICALLY by picking Gallagher, you have the best possible matchup here:
In order to have man vs. woman really succeed as more than just a short-term novelty act, you need to be able to make sure a woman can not just be the babyface against the big mean brute man trying to fight for respect and girl power, but rather, that the fans can accept a woman who's able to fight on the same level as the men, is completely accepted as an equal performer to the men and is respected by her peers as another good fighter...BUT SHE'S STILL A HEEL, you're supposed to accept her as 'the heel', and you're supposed to accept her as the bad person in the feud WITHOUT it becoming "I want to see this guy beat down that woman".
Which brings in Jack Gallagher as the opponent- by picking the Extraordinary Gentleman as the opponent- you have the perfect foil for a Charlotte run in the cruiserweights- a gentleman enough to not want to actually attack the woman or hit her, and who would make it clear to the fans "This is not about seeing a man beat up a woman, and indeed the man in question really doesn't WANT to hit a woman and would prefer not to...but she IS a viable competitor, she is worthy of his respect, and this is purely based on the sport of professional wrestling and both of these people are competitors on equal grounds in the sport, and there's no nature of brutality intended by this matchup at all."

Just wondering how long have you ben thinking about this. It sounds like a good idea to me.

Chun-Li vs Vega, maybe Kitana vs Goro, lot of classic match-ups to choose from. Snowjob vs Baroness... (I don't know if that ever happened in the comics, sounds like a good one to me)
