Hopefully there will be a Doggy Death Count in th corner of the screen with a picture of a dog with x's over his eyes next to the number. Also I hope we get some quick deaths. Getting taken by a hawk as a puppy. Stuff like that. "Equal to Old Yeller""Equal to Where the Red Fern Grows""Most depressing movie ever!"

So Nine Lives and Garfield exist. OK. But on somewhat serious note there has never been a movie about a cat owner who loves their cat and bonds with them and is sad when they die the same way there is with dogs. That's what I was getting at.

I've cried twice at the trailer, so I have to imagine the full movie is going to do some damage.

I saw the trailer last night during Smackdown. And it brought back memories of our Pekingese Maggie who we had to put to sleep about a year and a half ago.
So I was like, "Nope. Not going to that."

That's what I was getting at. The general opinion, which is complete BS, is that weirdos only own cats. Plus, you can blow up a cat but people get offended if you see somebody hit a dog with a newspaper on TV.

People get pretty upset when animals are abused on TV. Unless it's a cartoon or something. Simply put. Dogs are way more expressive animals than Cats. That's why monkeys get movies too.

I'm just saying that TV & film generally had lower respect towards felines in the past. I remember when they "fried" the cat in Christmas Vacation (though, in the first Vacation, Clark does drag Stinky a hundred miles on the road, so that's a counter example).

I'm just wondering, like, what the plot of this movie is or what direction it's heading. Because based on trailers it seems like someone edited together a bunch of sappy dog dramas into a Faces of Death movie.

Well, that takes this movie from, "Ha, the hell were they thinking? I hope this is nutty," to, "This movie can f*** off."

f*** this movie. I wouldn't even illegally download the damn thing now. Anyone who hurts an animal deserves the most severe of beatings or worse.
