My aunt is apparently related to Martin Lawrence and showed me pictures of her with him at a family reunion, so I am not against the man.

His films are hit-or-miss, but the Martin sitcom was amazing.

I liked him in College Road Trip, and Wild Hogs. Granted, those are the most I've seen of him

Especially when he talks about his public breakdown.

In terms of movies, I have always liked the Bad Boys films and Blue Streak. He was also funny in the first two House Party films. I wasn't too crazy about National Security from what I have seen, though.
As for the Martin show, that show was funny. I liked Martin's multiple roles in that show, like of Sheneneh and Roscoe.

Loved the show when I first discovered it when I was like 13. I also liked the movie Nothing to Lose as a kid.

Hated his show and more often than not him but found that movie 'Life' with he and Eddie hysterical when it came out.
He really works in either Bad Boys as well.
He's not at all unfunny, they just "made him" too quick and he was misused and oversaturated in the 90's in my view.

Finally, a thread where I can admit that Black Knight wasn't terrible and don't have to worry about getting beat up.

He was great in the Bad Boys movies. But if the rest of his career was lost in a tragic cyberhack, I would not be upset.

Blue Streak is hilarious! It's the first place my mind goes whenever I see Octavia Spencer haha "Can I buy you some cereal?"
EDIT: Might as well post the scene
