This week in Aunt May's life, she took too long to write a check while in line at Target, so the people behind her moved to a different register.

Again the fact that May and Mary look like MJ and Gwen raise all sorts of questions about Peter. Also hey random X-men reference with the psychic's name

Really glad he finally got back to reviewing a genuinely bad comic. Personally I think Linkara does too many theme months and weird Patreon stuff. I know why he does the Patreon stuff, he's gotta pay his bills, but half the time the things they want him to review just aren't all that interesting. And would I be the only person who thinks he should drop "Secret Origins Month"? Most of the time they're not bad comics, just ridiculously outdated, and you can only make so many "LOL, those wacky 1940's/1960's" jokes. Plus the stories were usually shorter back then further limiting available material.
But yeah, the characters in this are really unlikeable. I don't have much experience with romance comics, but isn't the point of them to try to make the reader actually root for the romance to work out? Why would anybody want any of these four to wind up together (other then to conceive Spider-Man)? Hope it's not another year and a half before he gets to the next issue.

I love Secret Origins month personally, and think some of hte best work he's done is the History of the Blue Beetle month from last year.

Yeah, I pretty much never watch Secret Origins month, his random tribute months to particular characters, or any of that. Though I'm very touch and go on Linkara anymore and have been for a long time, I really only watch things if I'm interested in them.

In today's thrilling episode of "Inside Aunt May", Aunt May remembers what pills to take today by flipping up the container with the W on it. She swallows them without incident.

Ya know, if this series was canon or presented May in an official way, then she and Doc Ock definitely got it on when they were dating.

I'm pretty sure it was originally meant to be canon but they quickly realized how terrible it was and changed their mind... (also that it contradicted like everything.)

It's just an odd thing, because it would actually make May and Ben's relationship with Peter less poignant, not more. Nothing is improved by: May is secretly your mom due to the fact that she was the one that slept with Richard.

Essentially it was meant to be canon but it didn't remotely fit in and no one really wanted it to be so they didn't do it... then there were some moves to try and make it canon in Ultimate and same thing basically. And there are still people trying, plan for Sony's ridiculous Spiderverse plans included an Aunt May movie and I'm sure this is what it would've been.

Oh, I've been waiting for Reagan's Raiders. Worlds Finest have good potential too.

Oh, Hokuto no Ken as well, eh? That's gonna be fun, talking about Kenshiro exploding body parts in completely absurd ways.

So he's going with Judd Winick's Exiles for his retrospective this year. Interesting choice, always though Linkara wasn't a fan of Winick's. I picked up an issue or two back in the day, never enough to really follow the ongoing story arcs, but what I saw looked good.
I'm not really sure what to say about the Spectacular Spider-Man episode or World's Finest. Both were good episodes of excellent cartoons that are very well known and easy to view. At least "Pryde of the X-Men" had an obscurity factor to it. I'm not sure what new take on them Linkara's gonna bring to the party.
I'm not sure what to make of Reagan's Raiders. I don't want to make this a political discussion since that's against board rules, and people who have read it say it's just a really wacky celebrity story and not divisive or having a political agenda, but in these times I'd still just prefer it to be avoided all together.
I am looking forward to the return of the A-Team though.
