My mom bought me a chocolate bomb cake from ShopRite, for one of my birthdays. It was delicious!! I also get pretzel bagels there, sometimes.  A chocolate bomb cake sounds very foreshadowing. |

Being an employee of Publix and having worked in the bakery (albeit the closing shifts)...you're right. Pub subs are where it's at though, but that's off topic lol. Even though I work Publix, my South Jersey bias to Wawa makes it a tie in the subs department. But then again, the best place at Publix is Aprons Simple Meals.  |

Grocery store bakeries are the shit.
My building is directly next door to a 24-hour grocery store and their bakery has incredible cupcakes.

Cardenas, a Hispanic grocery store chain here in Southern California has the best Mexican sweet bread anywhere....best when you get it fresh from their bakers. How about those fresh tortillas? |
