And how was it?
I had a lot of fun in Philly in December. Also, I explored a new area of Queens that month, but I wouldn't count that since I used to live in NYC, even if it was a very different part of the city. I'm planning to go to either Orlando or Miami in March.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates back in November.
It's good but expensive and you have to rely a lot on Public Transport.
That said it is all well managed and worth a visit.. Just make sure you save.
3-4 Days max.
Also I don't recommend going in June/July time unless you don't mind ridiculously hot weather, In November time it is still hot but more tolerable.

St. Louis. Although I guess technically Evansville. I spent a couple of days in St. Louis last Fall, explored the city, saw the sights, tried the local cuisine. One day I took a two and a half hour drive to Evansville, Indiana to try a restaurant I had always wanted to try.

I'll probably never be that close to a restaurant that serves Fried Brain Sandwiches ever again, so I consider it worth it. Evansville felt weird. I drove past an elementary school to get to the restaurant. I don't think I've ever seen so many little blonde children in one place at one time in all my life. It was like Village of the Damned.

Columbus in 2015. The city felt straight out of the 90s. Really loved it.

I went to New York City for the first time back in October.
That was super fun. I'd definitely add it to one of my main hotspot vacation places, along with Chicago, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas.

Tokyo. Loved it. Ate a bunch of rice/fish and saw a 6-star match. Super clean, super polite, I feel like if I were a city, I'd be Tokyo.

The last new city I went to was Okinawa City, in Okinawa (Japan). I don't recommend it - there's nothing there. I only went because I had something specific to do.
I highly recommend Okinawa itself, just stick to Naha, the beaches and beautiful islands and bypass Okinawa City altogether.

Toronto, a couple years back
Coming from Chicago, it was pretty much a somewhat cleaner, more polite Chicago with a castle and poutine. All of my family is in the Detroit area, so we drove from Chicago to stay with family, then drove to Canada.
Actually it was a pretty cool city. Ended up in the city center after an Air BNB rental went wrong (apartment was not cleaned AT ALL and we got our money back). Went to the zoo, went to the Royal Ontario Museum. Ate at a few good places. Checked out the aforementioned castle overlooking the city. Public transit was great.
I did a few days there and a few days at Niagara Falls at an actual BNB.
On the way back we took a ferry from Canada to Marine City, MI.

Washington, D.C.
I'm a Washington Nationals fan and a huge lover of presidential history, so it was everything I'd hope it'd be.

Went there for sightseeing and to see the Rumble.
Got to visit the Alamo, Riverwalk and Market Square, definitely would go back one day.

I won a free trip to Louisville last February, we went over Valentine's Day weekend. I really enjoyed the area, I was surprised. I'd happily go back.
