And how was it? I had a lot of fun in Philly in December. Also, I explored a new area of Queens that month, but I wouldn't count that since I used to live in NYC, even if it was a very different part of the city. I'm planning to go to either Orlando or Miami in March. Which area of Queens ? The last new city I visited was Chicago , Loved the food there . The city iteself is a lot different than I expected . Nothing like NYC

Ft. Lauderdale, in 2015. I thought it was very nice we were going on a cruise out of there, and spent the day before, there. Everyone was very nice to us

Monterrey, CA. Really nice place. Would love to go back soon. Spent some time there. I really liked it, too.

Vancouver, British Columbia. It was part of a Pacific Northwest trip in October. I ended up with Canadian dollars and got a crash course on Canadian currency.

Nashville, TN last year around Christmas. I love old country music, so it was awesome being there in the middle of all the history. The George Jones and Johnny Cash museums were well worth the price of admission. Having a drink at Tootsie's was also a pretty damn cool experience.

Bogue Chitto MS last week. Lived near it for almost 11 years, but always heard it was tiny and nothing was there. Ended up having to go bring some dvds to a friend that lives in Bogue Chitto and saw how small it is. All they got is a truckstop and I think a post office.
Before that it was Bude MS. Which is about 10 minutes west of me. All they have is a PBS channel. Went to the PBS studio to see if they did tours, they don't.Saw they had a gas station/diner and that was it.

Indianapolis in late 2015. Brother and his family just moved to Detroit, so that'll be sometime soon.

St. Louis in October 2015. My two go-tos on vacation are eating and grocery shopping, and St. Louis is killer for both. On the way, my wife and I stopped in Paducah, KY for lunch and Pancho's nacho cheese. (Someone on here was talking about it, and we wanted to try it. It did not disappoint.) It's a nice town, but small. We also went to Nashville, IL to visit what has to be the world's smallest Kroger. It's actually smaller than it looks.

Washington DC. I went there back in November to see the Packers/Redskins game. Some beautiful things to see there, so many interesting free museums to explore and the walk from the Capitol building to Arlington cemetery is one of the nicest walks I've ever experienced.

San Antonio, TX. Went there for sightseeing and to see the Rumble. Got to visit the Alamo, Riverwalk and Market Square, definitely would go back one day. I feel lucky to live here full time

New Orleans. Went to sight-see and eat around. Found out the hotel had a open bar and ended up skipping dinner for the whole trip. Food was meh but the city was beautiful.
