Who here has done this? My girlfriend and I are looking at moving from Chicago to LA. It's a big move, and my family will be upset (in a good way), but we feel ready. I've been only doing small freelance work for six months, and she's tired of her job.
Anyone have advice? Success stories?

2 and a half years ago after graduating from College, I did a smaller move from Tampa to Tallahassee. Very first thing I recommend is not to be afraid to buy furniture as you go along instead of all at once.
Big Lots can actually be your best friend getting starter furniture for your new place.

Just only PA cities. Did okay for college, but failed in Harrisburg in 2009. Bought a house near its suburbs in 2015 and haven't looked back.
