Sometimes, you'll see a greatest hits album, but one of the songs never actually appeared on an album by said artist/group. Instead, since the singer appeared on a hit song by another artist, that song ends up on their greatest hits album. Never understood that. Yeah, Easy Lover is a great song, but it's not a Phil Collins song, its by Phillip Bailey, and therefore, belongs on HIS greatest hits. Same with "Picture" by Kid Rock. Yeah, Sheryl Crow sings on it, but its not her song, its Kid Rock's. I know its nitpicking, but this type of thinking leads to people but IMO, this leads to lesser hits (or even new songs) not showing up on albums in favor of collaborations from other artists albums.
