Anyone doing anything special with their returns?
I surprisingly got mine early today so I ended up getting all of my Car Tires replaced.

I did mine yesterday. I sent them in shortly after 5 PM, and by 9:30 that night I received emails that both my federal and state returns had been accepted.
My refund will probably just go toward bills and food.

My long-term teaching position turned around and regressed into me being a substitute (Long story. Our county is goofy and a 'good ole boys club'. I didn't know the right people, so a teacher was able to waltz back into a job she'd given up. /End whining), so I made very little last year. I just hope I get enough back to get/pay the majority of MLB The Show 17. If that happens, I'll consider it a victory.

My daughter wants her room redecorated. She's going on 6 so she's wanting a "big kid room". I'm going to spend a lot of mine doing that for her.

I haven't started mine yet (still need a few forms). Most likely will go into savings (assuming I do get anything back).

I've got to get started on my parents' stuff and it is screwed up even more by having to file on two months of NY income tax for my Dad alone, despite everything else being joint. NY is f***ing pain in the ass. If we get anything in return it will first go to paying off the loan we had to take out to completely replace our AC, then if there is anything left my mom has to get two air tickets to Canada and Dad needs his transmission worked on in his truck.

Still waiting on mine to be accepted. It's 4 days past when it was expected to. Then again I claim the EIC and Child Tax Credit so they're hoarding my refund for another 3 or so weeks to prevent tax fraud.
I'll be getting an amended return eventually too since I discovered I was claiming coworkers tips since they weren't clocking in when we share a cash drawer while bartending. They held extra taxes that I didn't pay on those and cost me a big chunk of EIC since apparently I "made" $7000 more than last year.
Short answer...small vaca then down payment on an apartment when I move later this year.

I legitimately forgot tax season last year. I'm not sure how, but it did land me in a wee bit of trouble.

Aside from buying new beds for everyone and my son the PS4 he wanted for his birthday, I wanna save what I can. Got too much stuff to replace. I claim the state return for myself, but it usually goes on a night out alone with the wife.

Probably use my state to help pay off my federal because life isn't fair.

I literally spent mine on a tank of gas.
I got screwed this year.
At least my work's vacation pay was nuts, so I have a trip to Orlando in my near future (end of the month). I've been living like a college kid since I booked the trip so I can save every cent possible for the trip; hotel and airfare are paid, so it's just saving money for stuff to do. Disneyworld is for sure on the docket, dunno what else I'll do yet. Probably some shopping, an arcade trip if I can find a decent one around there, a beach trip at some point (if I leave Orlando without seeing the ocean I'll be kicking myself for the rest of my life).

Deposited straight into my ROTH up to the yearly max, and the leftovers will go into savings since I'm looking at replacing my old car in the near future.

Part of mine will go to savings as rent backup, and the rest is vacation money (maybe going to Buffalo for UFC 210?).
