Have Any Of You Taken Wrestling Classes?

I just had my first unofficial lesson. "Unofficial" because the class series itself does not begin until early March (classes were supposed to begin this week, but Jay's not back yet), but they let me in the ring and showed me some of the basic maneuvers and stance so I will be prepared for the first four weeks, which is devoted to chain wrestling. No bumps yet, because they need him to get back before I sign the waiver. But I also learned how to assemble a ring, and even got to help out a bit. It definitely gave me a better appreciation of all the hard work that goes into it! They also agreed to let me volunteer at local wrestling promotions, because I want to learn as much about the industry as possible.
