As time progressed we went from clipping coupons to getting discount cards to gift cards to membership cards for restaurants, fast food, retail, etc.
But these days everyone has an app, were the establishment will tell you to download to get deals, sales, discounts, whatever. A lot now will let you create a "credit card" or something on the app to pay or buy.
So do you still carry anything like coupons, membership cards, etc anymore or is everything on the app now?
I can remember going to pay somewhere and having to dig threw countless membership or gift cards to find the one for the place that I am at.

Coupons? f*** yeah bro. A bunch. Old school habit I got from my Dad.
My fave is for Yoshinoya...they got a Tilapia plate with veggies and rice for about $10 and I get a continuous coupon to get two full orders for $8.something.
I hate the move to more technological means of currency..my Gf covers that. My wallets full of bills.

I still have a library card and a few store cards, although even the stores those come from have an app just in case you forget or lose your card.

I use both paper coupons and digital coupons. As long as my grocery store continues to mail me physical coupons, I will continue to use them. And I have two membership cards on my keychain, one I use weekly, and one I use rarely because I don't shop at Walgreens often (though that will probably change because they're the nearest store that carries a couple of things I want that my grocery store doesn't).
I have an ordinary QWERTY phone and my iPod touch is from 2010 so there's no apps for me anywhere.

I am glad my local grocery store has digital coupons. Basically you pick the coupons you want at their website, then when you check out you just type in your phone number at the checkout pad. Then again, I don't carry all the cards I have in my wallet all the time. Need to keep my wallet free for all that cash I carry on me all the time .

Wife got all that covered digitally. Only things I carry are my state ID, Sam's Club card, bank card, USAA insurance card...and my old military ID.

I still have an HMV membership card but I won't be getting use out of that for much longer.

My student ID is probably older than half the posters on this board and I still use it for discounts because I'm a cheap asshole when it comes to tickets.

I still use cards and coupons sometimes. It seems that phone apps have taken over that but not to everyone.

I still use my actual loyalty cards since I have to get my wallet out to pay anyway and it's easier than juggling my wallet and phone. Yep - my wallet is full of random crap that I should probably go through. Same here, but everything somehow makes the jump when I buy a new wallet and I still carry around stuff like "membership card for place that hasn't existed in years" and "faded receipt for ...something?".

I've never really messed with coupons, but I have a bloat of membership/discount cards on my keychain. I don't understand why my newest card is the most beat up card I have.

We get mailers with discounts in our building from local restaurants all the time and we always keep them and use them if it's a place we like.

Yeah. I'm not against modern technology or anything, but I don't need my phone to run my life and do everything for me.
