Just as I've gotten used to Kris Marshall....
As much as I like Adarl O' Hanlon, I can't see him in the role of a bumbling UK cop. Cocky UK cop who gets his comeuppance but solves the case, however...

Nah, in all seriousness he'll always be Dougal to me, and he played him brilliantly. Dougal was more childlike and naïve than bumbling, though. He didn't even notice naked women coming to the door... In the short time he was on screen he won me over, so I admit that I was wrong. The show's in good hands. |
