Speaking of Bon Jovi, "I'll be there for you" might count as well. If you listen to the lyrics, it's some guy apologizing for being a jerk and basically begging his girlfriend to not leave him.

From my understanding it's basically Billy Joe telling the fans that decided they didn't like them any more simply because they signed on to a major label and therefore not punk enough anymore to go screw themselves. It's probably the most "punk" song Green Day has ever done. I've never heard it interpreted as a love song though, usually it's a graduation type thing. I don't know if anyone would be dense enough to think that "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails is a love song, but people misinterpreted it as a lust anthem (The song ranked 2nd on AOL's "69 Sexiest Songs of All Time" list). It's a song of self-hatred and nihilistic desperation. and drugs, don't forget drugs.
