My first job as School Work Experience was working in a pharmaceutical company aged 15. It was officed based and I worked with my sister. I liked it in some ways although I could tell my sister was watching my every move even though I don't remember them actually giving me any work to do. Must of printed out a bunch of crap.
Then I did another work experience aged 17 for college which I felt was dumb since I had already did my work experience. It was retail but I spent most of my time in the back/warehouse area. I had a lot of fun as I was working with a couple of guys younger than me and they were really immature so we spent most of our time play fighting and nobody had a clue what we were doing.
First actual payed job was bar work at Twickenham stadium. It was fine but a lot of bossy bitches for the first day or two.

Someone else has mentioned a paper round, so I'll claim it too. I was about 13 or 14, I think, but only lasted a week as it was a stupidly long walk.
My first proper proper job was at 19, stacking the shelves in Sainsbury's three evenings a week.

Kind of depends on how you define job. I stated assisting my dad delivering weekend newspapers at 14. But my first official job was at a McDonald's at age 18.

Also a paperboy at 12 or 13.
But first real job was a curtain track assembler at Spotlight.... I assembled those things you hang curtains on....There was quite a lot too it and I had to ship them all over New South Wales. I think I was 17 but could have been 18.
The job was cool, but the bosses son and his friend laughed at me when I told them my salary ($120 pw). I though that was a lot. The best part of the job was the fact that I was in a shopping centre, so went down stairs to MCDonalds or KFC every lunch break, followed by a trip to the arcade to play Marvel Super Heroes ( I was always Ironman)

My first job was delivering the Sunday paper. Started at the age of 4, took over the route when I was 10, and ended it when I was 16.
My first hourly job (also age 16) was at a McDonald's... which only lasted 1 month before I got fired.

Both of my older brothers had the route before me and I just more or less inherited it from them (all $15-20 every 2 weeks of it).
