Or at least not suck out loud for the first time?
Last night I went bowling with some friends and I've been bowling before with one of them and he's a terrible bowler. Like high 80s and maybe he broke 100 once in the two times previously. So yesterday he gets a 175 and 166 in his first two games. Third game everyone kinda got gassed from the excitement and so we all were down but still finished strong to get that 100 plus. He's a big guy and he tried to cup the ball but what ever he was doing actually worked with the spin and everything.

Playing cornhole (bean bag toss) during the pregame tailgate party at the Iowa/Wisconsin game quite a few years back. My wife says she wants to try. Throws all 4 bags into the hole on the first try. Suddenly everybody wants her on their team. She hasn't done it since.

She said she feels like "if a first time bowler got a turkey on their first 3 balls" but then still has an average of 110 a decade later. |
