I remember really liking the first season of Fantastic Four back when I was a kid, but being kinda meh on the first season of Iron Man. I only caught bits and pieces of their second seasons due to their schedules and not thinking too highly of either, although one of my earliest college memories is watching the "Ego the Living Planet" episode of FF in the campus lounge. So were Tony Stark and Julia Carpenter ever an item in the comics? And what was the deal with Century? I've never even heard of the character outside this show. Is he still around in the comics somewhere? I know Force Works (the name for Tony's not-Avengers group in the show) was an acutal ongoing comic at the time and Julia was a part of it, but I don't know if they were a thing there. I kind of liked their relationship though, the finale of season one sets up their romance by having them pretend to get married, and then in season two it's revealed Tony stood her up on their actual wedding day. I found that hilarious. And after all that, Julia still kept working with him, even after all of Force Works left Tony after he faked his death and manipulated all of them, and they eventually got a happy ending. |

I remember the Incredible Hulk cartoon being included in US but it was a 90s version. I would sometimes get up early enough to watch this. It aired at like 5 AM or some crap. Yes, there was a 1996 (?) version of the Hulk. Complete with Lou Ferrigno voicing the titular character. And oh yeah, it had this scene: I mean almost all versions of Hulk have been voiced by Lou  |
