So here's the deal, a friend of mine has been talking to a woman from Ghana and my friend is a good guy, but he's kinda like Gomer Pyle in a way and he really believes in this chick.
Anyway she informs him that she ordered an IPhone 7 and it has been delivered to him-thing is it went to another man's house under another man's name.
He has been instructed to ship it to her in Ghana via UPS and it won't cost him anything, and if she and her friend like it, they might buy 5 more.
I'm already talking to friends and I used to work for the post office so I'm talking to one of my friends who is a clerk tonight before I try to go to the authorities or at least approach my friend about it
What I wonder is what's the endgame? I've heard of victims paying for a contract to "unlock " a phone and the perpetrator resells it but I'm not sure what's to be gained through shipping a phone

So stealing phones, sending it overseas so it can't be tracked, and they can resell out there to people that can't get them.
And starting with 1 and then doing more sounds like a drug deal, haha. Your friend has to be getting a cut.
