I remember on the first season DVD (it might even be the first episode) there is a commercial parody for a 3 blade razor, obviously 3 was mean't to be a ridiculous idea but is of course completely lost on modern audiences Lol, really? I've never heard of this one. I remember more recently some parody commercial promised a razor of 15 blades! I was looking to see if they had uploaded the video but couldn't find it but here is the transcript of the sketch - snltranscripts.jt.org/75/75atriple.phtmlI was also right about it being the first episode

Superstar and Perfect Cheer sketches don't hold up well, I didn't think they were that funny at the time. Now they make we wonder if we were all on drugs back then? That's a really good call and accurate description. This current season being 75% Trump-centric definitely won't hold up well 15-20 years from now when none of it is relevant anymore. That's the downside of political humor. It ages incredibly fast. Even a year or two from now, chasing those headlines only makes you go "Oh yeah, that WAS a thing" as opposed to laugh.

Except if you're. geeks like me and my friends who can go back and look at 1988 debates sketches and laugh uproariously

The Goatboy stuff. Never thought it was funny. Build a whole character around the fact that Jim Bruer can make a goat sound? Same for Kattan's Mr. Peepers. Spitting apples in people's faces. That where Carlito got the idea? I hate the Mango sketches.

The only Mr Peepers skit that still works is the one with the Rock as his dad

That where Carlito got the idea? I hate the Mango sketches. Came in here to say Mango. And speaking of wrestlers getting their inspiration from SNL sketches, wasn't this where WCW got the idea for Kwee Wee?
