We'll all be dead by the time Oda finally decides to end it. Been going on what, 20 years now? I could take five hundred of those chapters and get rid of them so that they never existed and not one thing would be missed.
You're better of cryo freezing yourself for fifty years in the future.

Except they already have 2/4 of the map needed to find the last island and will be going to another island once they are done with Whole Cake Island, where the 3rd poneglyph is.

Usagi Drop, Gantz and Shaman King are some of the worst endings i've ever read in anything. Ever. I honestly can't even pick one.

Seriously, Oda packs each chapter with a TON of stuff to advance the plot. Sure, and arc like Dressrosa went on a bit too long but everything had a purpose.

The maximum amount of time left for One Piece is 10 years, if that. There's still a lot of content left (The Reverie, Wano, Elbaf, the Revolutionaries VS CP0, finding the last road Poneglyph, Blackbeard VS Shanks, the revelation of the Void Century, and the war to overthrow the World Government, the final battle between Luffy and Blackbeard), but the end goal is within sight. Don't forget that they will probably face the Kid/Hawkins/Apoo alliance at one point and who knows how the other "Worst Generation" pirates that haven't had that much focus on them (Jewelry Bonney, Urouge, Drake) will take a part in the story. For now though, what would make me most happy is if at the end of the next arc we could welcome a new member to the Strawhats... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} <3 Carrot

Death Note's second half.
Near and Mello are like a tag team of Deus ex Machina assholes that are just there to make sure Light didn't get off free.

I like Mello a lot but yeah, otherwise the end of Death Note is a big step down. Even though Mello is interesting he isn't really given that much to do, Near is just a lame rehash of L, there's a really jarring tonal shift, in the case of the manga the story slows way, way the hell down for no real reason other than to get to 108 chapters, and Light's really only caught due to luck and his own stupidity.

The best part about Death Note is the fact that it gave birth to Bakuman. Other than that, screw Death Note.

It also exacerbated the problem I had with the first half: L in the first half had a major problem making logic leaps and ass pulls to suspect Light and Misa, even though he shouldn't have. The sheer blind guess that it took for him to arrest Misa was absolute horseshit that just baited us with the possibility of Light killing him early, for example. But at least he did suspect other people at points, and Light had incriminated himself by killing Ray Penber. when he could have left him alone. Near, however, with no evidence except the fact Light was one of the people investigated (he also shouldn't have known about Mr Yagami's "death sentence") decided Ligh was Kira, and didn't do anyhting about anyone else, including the several other people that actually USED the deathnote.

Near can f*** off, I hated that they had him be the one to discover Light was Kira. They tried to explain it through some bullshit way that him and Mello combined were better than L and they would go over limits he would not tho L did kidnap Misa and hold her against her will for how long? When L was catching on to Light(and that had asspulls as well) at least you can pinpoint it to him killing Ray Penbar for no reason but the Mello and Near stuff was ughh. 2nd half of story completely fell off from the first alf

As I said when I brought this page back up, I am Hero somehow eclipsed Gantz on that scale of worst ending. Gantz problem was it was trying to extend a story that could of ended a while back and with them trying to extend the story they ran into a convoluted mess. I am a hero is one of the best horror/zombie stories ever imo and it fell really flat. Not one of the important questions was answered and it ended on a whimper when it still had a lot of story to tell.

Now I know the creator has went back and rewrote the last volume, but for me the last volume of Battle Angel Alita to come out in the late 90s was horrible. It went from being a great series. To being so bad I almost quit reading it.
