I will start with 1998
1998 I was 14 years old and started really getting into Football(soccer) by this point. I had been watching for about a year and started playing in teams at school. I remember enjoying the World Cup that year very much and watching it on Holiday in Turkey with family any chance I could get. Loved the 3 lions song and The Spice Girls were really over during the school years I think everyone liked them secretly. I also remember it being the year I got a Computer and I played the shit out of GTA and Championship manager. Jerry Springer was fresh to me then and we believed it was real. Strange enough I had been a big fan of WWE since 1998 but would receive video tapes weekly from my sister as we didn't have cable and this year I probably watched it the less but still followed it mainly through PPVs.
1999
A lot more drama than the year before but I got my first girl who was a german exchange student this year. Had a lot of fun. Not full sex, but damn sure everything else in the 2 days she stayed. I also got cable this year and had great fun watching WWE every week.
2001/2002/2004
I group these together because I think they were my best years. I was young but getting smarter, had a great girl, enjoyed college made some really good friends. Started becoming a fan of Big Brother TV show and learned how to play Pool really well
Later on everything got quite seriously and I just drink to make things better but those years are truely amazing especially the childhood. I could think of many more great years pre 1998.

I'll say 1983. I was just born. Being an adult is shit.

I'd say 2006-2007, since I was 13 then, which is old enough to be able to do some things (Like go for a walk when you're bored), but still young enough when you don't have to worry about "Adult" things (Like getting a job or moving out).

I always felt 1999 was a good year for me. I was attending community college, which meant an inexpensive education that was paid off right away. I was working part time in retail, which meant I had money. And I was still living at home with my parents, rent free.
On a good day (which happened quite often), I would attend classes in the morning and be done by 10 a.m. Then I would stop off at McDonald's and bring it home for lunch before taking a nap or playing video games. Back then I was still very much into video games, though, and I sometimes went to the store after class, bought a new game and came home to play it. I remember being on a Super Nintendo kick at the time (we were in the era of the Playstation, Saturn and N64) and SNES games were pretty cheap.
About three years later, I was in my fourth and final year of college. By then I was living away from home. Otherwise, it was a similar scenario except I felt more responsible and was optimistic I'd have a bright future ahead of me.

1999, Especially Summer
I was at school (I hated it but I didn't have as much to worry about then) and everything was great
- South Park was great (Season 2) - WWF was awesome (1999 is shit when revisited but it was awesome back then) - Good year for movies (As bad as it was the build to TPM release was exciting as all hell) - Games were good (Zelda: OOT was christmas 98 but I didn't play till 1999)
But what I miss the most was being round a friends house or Vice versa and playing games all day without having to worry about work or anything like that.

2002-2004.
It was my awakening and many firsts.
Honorable mention to 1999 just so I could support the Dreamcast and not really make a difference but at least I got to experience it live.

2001
Graduated high school. Went to a strip club for the first time. Partied with friends. Dating a cheerleader who also modeled. Went to Myrtle Beach with her. Started college.
Best. Year. Ever.
I mean, besides that whole 9/11 thing.

1985-1987 - I was 6 - 8 years old. And in toy heaven! GI Joe's as far as the eye could see! Transformers, Robotech, MASK, Dino Riders..God Ill be here all day. The cartoons were everywhere and always started the day off right. It was so exciting, especially my birthdays and chirstmas. My cousins would visit and we would drive our parents nuts as we could not sleep. I also attending the best primary school, ever. I had a gf at 7! Wouldn't have another one till I was 19.
1984 was probably good too, but I don't really remember it. (my memories start in 1985)
1996- Quite a gap huh. I had a terrible time in high school and had dropped out in 1995 (11th grade). A year later I was feeling better and had gotten my first job. I didnt have a gf, but I had a group of friends that would get together at one of their house and play video games all saturday night. To this day, I have never has as much fun as I did back then, and would trade any night with any girl Ive slept with to be back laughing like a nerd with those guys.
Its also the golden age of pro wrestling. WWF is still great ( I didn't watch RAW often, I just rented the PPV's) and WCW is must see TV. The nWo storyline had to be experenced, as it can not be described. Everyone who tries undersells it. You didn't know what was going on and a heel Hulk Hogan had you booing at the screen when he was on cutting his "I am the god of wrestling" promos.

91-99 were the best years of my life. I was just a kid, but holy shit life was a lot better when I didn't have to worry about money or bills. I'm also going to do the old guy cliche thing and say that the music and the movies were also much better then. So was the wrestling. I'd kill to still be able to watch WCW Saturday Night or Nitro.

Some memories reminding me of so many more over years. I liked how when we were in school between 97-99 and we would skip Gym class and play video games. We usually did it when the weather was shit(they made us get a bus down to the local) so we didn't feel too bad.
96 was great too I loved WWE around this time and would go to my sisters house with my mum to watch Summerslam. I used to think my sister was really rich because she had all the cable channels,a computer, pets and I would go there and have a great time with things I didn't have at home. I had a good time at home though, always entertaining myself with my own WWF shows and jumping around with a punchbag I used as a wrestler. It seems to me after I got into my 20s life got depressing quick.

Pretty much any year before 2005. My life.....altered when I got let go from my last job in late 2005; been gainfully employed since, not like I was homeless or without money or something, but....it's been different. There've been good things, and bad things, but it's all seemed oddly....different.
