For any of the new edit makers, the guys at the Fire Pro Arena made a guide to point allocation when it comes to CAWs/edits. I've noticed many people give way too many points to their edits and their edits are overpowered. This is perfect. I've always had problems making my CAW wrestlers too powerful, this will help tremendously. I need to get off my ass and start tracking down logic tutorials. That's the next big step in the learning process.

From watching videos the submission endings still stink. That's the one thing the AKI games always had over Fire Pro with their limb work and struggle in a submission to make the ropes or just escape. Too often its just beat them up and they submit rather quickly. Always seems like they submit easier then being pinned.

That's the next big step in the learning process. I can help you with logic somewhat, what do you need help with? Usually for grapples, I usually set big moves to a low percentage and the headlock logic low. You want to be sure the move with the highest percentage isn't a high damage move (unless you're creating current Brock Lesnar where you would set the logic percentage to german suplexes high) and set low damage moves like body slams and non knockdown strikes high. But it all depends on the CAW you're making

First time player, possible noob question:
Is there a more efficient way to transfer guys into stables and promotions after downloading them that doesn't require going one by one in edit mode, moving them from 'retired' to the category of choice? Seems time consuming.

By the way, is crawling towards the rope not implemented yet? Or have I just not been able to get it to work, and neither has the AI? I was actually really looking forward to it as it felt somewhat frustrating when you were in a submission hold near the ropes but couldn't do anything about it, plus I feel like it might solve the aforementioned problem of winning by submission being too easy compared to winning by pinfall.

I've seen people do it but not the AI

That's the one thing the AKI games always had over Fire Pro with their limb work and struggle in a submission to make the ropes or just escape. Too often its just beat them up and they submit rather quickly. Always seems like they submit easier then being pinned. This is actually a pretty easy thing to fix with the logic system. All you do is make sure your wrestler is programed to NEVER do any submissions (unless its their finisher) once the other guy is in a critical state. There are of course exceptions to this rule. I just made a Frank Gotch and given who he is, I'm perfectly okay with him winning with a hammerlock. Similar with Suzuki though I limit him to just the sleeper and the heel hold. With my Samoa Joe, I make sure to just have the Clutch be the only submission he could ever hit when the other wrestler is at critical. So far what I'm noticing is that hardest thing to get right is high flying juniors. I really wish there was a logic setting for throwing your opponent outside the ring so we can see more dives. But otherwise you can really get the system to do anything you want with enough work

Wish I was into this game more than I am. As I've been playing I'm starting to understand what people say about the matches being a bit more dramatic than some of the stuff in more modern games. Wish there was a bit more fluidity and a bit more depth in terms of long term game-play, I feel like there's nothing to accomplish.

I want this so bad, but I loathe playing games on a PC. My apologies is this has already been addressed in the thread, but has a PS4 release date been confirmed or is it still TBA? I may have to suck it up and give in the Steam.

Honestly the only two things I want in the immediate future for the game are a 30 man (or more) Rumble mode and a more extensive ring edit system (complete with downloadable logos).
Incidentally is there a way to change and/or turn off the ring out count? Maybe I've missed it, but I didn't spot it in the rules.

I'm sure the extensive ring edit system will come sooner or later since Returns had a really great system. A big rumble mode would be great and seems like something that could be achievable.

Damn, I'm loving the Jumping Cutter. Few things are more satisfying than CPU whipping another opponent into you and getting the timing just right for a leaping RKO. If they can keep up a consistent rate of moves I'd love to see the punt and Swiss Death being added in the next patch.

Have a whole week off, and still can't play the game. This bites. Hopefully, new laptop will be here soon and it'll work on it.
