Vader beat Warrior in the rematch and once again looks unbeatable.
I do more than one sim fed but that's the World title that seems more important.

So what happened with the PS4 release/community? There was hype about the game coming to the west, and now I hear nothing about it. Even nL don't mention it.

The season pass costs just as much as another full retail game

I am definitely waiting for a sale.
As much as I want it to succeed, and I understand it is a niche game so they can't rely on volume sales, 90 dollars to get the whole package on a game like this is nuts.

While there's something to be said for playing on a console, the overlap between PC and PS4 owners probably has many inclined to stick with the former for now (especially given what the Mod community's done with it).

(Not counting that Microsoft Avatar wrestling game.)

(Not counting that Microsoft Avatar wrestling game.) Never say never of course, but ya....after this shitshow of a rollout and lackluster sales you can be pretty sure that World is THE final Fire Pro. On PC this is not a problem. The mod community had already transformed this game to something SC didn’t/couldn’t envision. The PS4 players? Enjoy it, I guess. At some point the servers will go down.

I think Johnny wants to play it, but his save got corrupted, so it won't load on his PS4, so he's have to remake Noam.Bargo and start the Road all over again. And with 2K19 about to release, that's probably going to take priority. Me personally, I've been trying to do more stuff with the game, but I've been busy with work and editing SCFL stuff, and I'm going out of town on vacation next week. I really want to get to doing the HOODSLAM roster, but going through the moves and logic (which I honestly kinda stink at) is going to take some time.

I think OSW did an awful job trying to sell the game on their show. Constantly saying it plays like the N64 AKI games.

I guess the gist is if you enjoyed the classics with how customize-able it is and the gameplay being similar in regards to "basics"
From what I have observed of the game it seems one of those games that it takes time to master but having the ability to customize at you will and just make things your own plays big
Def a game I will entertain when the price drops to like $60 for the full package. 2k19 looks better this year so that takes priority but FPWW is something I want to get into as to have something I can always kill time on

Nah they straight up say that the gameplay is just like No Mercy.

Nah they straight up say that the gameplay is just like No Mercy. I mean that's not really all that bad considering how No Mercy is considered one of the best wrestling games ever made
It's just an oversimplified way of not really breaking it down like they should considering from what I know (the game emphasis good matches, wearing down your opponent etc...)
Simplifying the game isn't doing it justice but for people who are newbies to the game but know of No Mercy that's not a bad comparison. Hell, it's a lofty one when you put it like that

I just can't get into this. I played a lot of returns, I bought this and it's just not doing it for me anymore. Too many small dumb things like AI just standing right up after finishes, or the nature of the gameplay meaning a lot of weird goofy missed strikes. The game engine is showing its age. It plays no different than returns did ten years ago.
For all the talk about how terrible the WWE games are, I'm having lightyears more fun actually playing 2k18 than I am FPRW

Fire Pro plays nothing like No Mercy from what I remember. Haven't played this version yet but I assume not much has changed with the engine from the comments here.
I guess more like No Mercy than the 2K games, very broadly speaking.

Yeah, I kind of have the same issue with Fire Pro. I have a lot more fun watching it play itself than I do actually playing it.
