Like I said, the issue for me was watching the actors and actresses point and gawk like it was a zoo exhibit. I've no issue with them doing that for the "normal" people. It's a nice gesture. It just shows how out of it some of those folks inside the theater really are. Between this and Viola Davis' self-serving acceptance speech, I'm starting to understand those people who say that Hollywood is out of touch with the common man. Seriously, "we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life." An ACTRESS said that. To be fair there a few of the tourists that were acting like they were in a zoo as well. I thought the one woman was going to sit on the lap of the Moonlight guy.

I understand that they get these kind of oscars, but if they win the big ones... manchester by the sea and moonlight were actual good movies.

Hopefully they had time to add a Bill Paxton tribute.

Oh god. I'm not ready for the Carrie Fisher picture. One of the celebrity deaths that still legitimately hurts to think about.

City of Stars is super catchy but Audition is a far better song imo.

Anton Yelchin's death is still so sad since they made Chekov a bigger character in Star Trek Beyond. Poor guy. Carrie Fisher's picture on that reel hurt me inside, as well.
