This is long overdue and so well deserved. Fences was the best acted film of the year. I expect Denzel to follow later this evening, even though Casey was his equal

He made Bridge of Spies which would have been a good film a great film. I saw both that film and Creed. Rylance did a fantastic performance, but Stallone had me bawling because of how real he made the difficulties of the life of Rocky Balboa |

We all know The Academy was thinking of her performance in Suicide Squad when casting the vote, but due to political reasons they decided that Fences needed a rub instead. But expect Suicide Squad 2 to get it's win back. |

I'll second this. Everything about the movie was snubbed. Michael B. Jordan didn't get a best actor nomination either, and I don't think Stallone got a supporting actor nom either.
