I joined this forum around the time those threads were really taking off, and it's amazing how different the NBA threads were then from now.

The NBA seemed to have a lot of juice in 2010-11 (Heat as a super villain team that was way more hated than the current Warriors, LeBron as the super heel, The Decision and Miami Dream Team a jolt of energy for what had been a Laker-centric NBA for most of the 2000s
