If there's a minor complaint, it's that we didn't get nearly enough Negasonic after her being one of the best parts of the first. I want a buddy cop style movie with Colossus, Negasonic, and Yukio as he attempts to mentor them. Hi Yukio.

Am I the only one that thought the Domino actress sucked? I have no knowledge of the character from the comics, and only know Zazie Beetz from Atlanta but I really found myself liking the character and her performance.

I don’t know if I liked it more than the first one (I’ve got them pretty equal), but I do know that I’ve never laughed that hard and that often in a theater before. I’ve never seen a movie twice in theaters, but I’ve already made plans to go again. Loved it. The only time I've laughed harder than realising Juggernaut's theme wasn't latin chanting was the extended pause in Infinity War where everyone is trying to process "kicking names and taking ass" by the way, interesting random trivia: The guy who made Juggernaut's theme is Tyler Bates. No, not the wrestler, Marilyn Manson's guitarist.

Am I the only one that thought the Domino actress sucked? I didn't think she was bad but I thought her & the character were the weakest thing in the movie.

Really enjoyed it, thought it was much better than the first one but then for whatever reason I didn't really enjoy the first one.

She was the best Not-Deadpool X-Force Member! I reall enjoyed her, actress was good, even if I miss classic Domino look, the name makes a little less sense ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I thought it was a really good movie. Not as funny as it could've been any maybe more serious than it should've been but I didn't want it to be over, which says a lot.

Other than being disappointed with Domino, I really loved seeing a more comic accurate Juggernaut and Colossus going at it. I’m so glad that wasn’t spoiled for me.

Went and saw it tonight. I loved it. Almost more than the first one.
I loved the chemistry between Yukio and Deadpool.

REALLY enjoyed it; can't say for sure if I preferred it or the original, but they're close enough in style and tone that I can kind of just view them as one thing. I was having actual belly-laughs when {Spoiler}Juggernaut says "I'm going to rip you in half" and Pool is all "That's such a Juggernaut thing to say!" AS he's being ripped in half. Just wonderful. Brolin was also pitch-perfect for Cable; he's the one Rob Liefeld creation being played perfectly straight, and yet he's shown as being in the wrong for what he wants to do. I love how the trailers had me all concerned that this would be a "more serious" Deadpool in service of setting up some type of X-Force thing going forward, but {Spoiler}they couldn't have subverted that much harder than they actually did, eh? Shatterstar going into the blades got a loud laugh out of me, just amazing. Also, woodchipper, holy shit. Regarding the ending/credits stuff, {Spoiler}I started the movie kind of annoyed that they'd stuff Vanessa in a fridge like that, but, hey, this is Deadpool, so funny postmodern deconstruction is the name of the game; him going back in time during the credits, and all the cameos and "you thought that was a big moment? PSYCHE" moments that went with that, was just great to me. I do agree that the one main criticism is that Negasonic could've done a lot more, really wanted to see her and Yukio get move involved, but that's just being saved for next time, I figure. I've said it before, but it's funny to me how, really, when Fox has gotten it right with these X-Men movies they've probably been my favorites in the entire superhero genre, alongside the Nolan-verse Batman stuff. It's just unfortunate that when Fox screws up, they really screw up, but the good ones are so satisfying, particularly recently with both Deadpools and Logan. Now, please, Ryan Reynolds, work your magic and get us Deadpool vs. Fat Wolverine; just keep telling Jackman he won't have to work out this time, he can even pull a Stallone in Copland if he wants.

I watched it yesterday and it just left me with a sense of meh. It was funny and the action sequences were very well done but it just felt lacking from the spark the first one had. It very much felt like it was Deadpool through the eyes of an action specialist in David Leitch and it felt like just another comic book movie.
I've been off sick today so I've been watching a few movies and I watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople and that is something you have to seek out.
