Can't find it now, but there's a meme of a fake TMZ report on Ryan Reynolds' death. {Spoiler} A Green Lantern script was found at the scene, and a man in red spandex is the lead suspect.

I've never even heard of her before and I thought she was an excellent foil to Reynolds. More Negasonic would've been better for me, but Domino was more than adequate compensation. Was disappointed by the lack of NTW myself, but I think Reynolds thought that joke might have gone as far as it could. Introducing Domino was a fantastic idea that opened up some very inventive action sequences, and the actress playing her was awesome. Really not sure how anyone could be disappointed in the performance.

For some reason the movie is this week's Nostalgia Critic. I'm not going to watch it but what on earth is the purpose of doing a clipless review of a comedy? A good comedy, at that? Critic: LOOK AT ME GUYS I'M STILL POPULAR LOVE MEEEE!

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I did like how the cameos of Xavier and the X-Men are kinda out of continuity, unless we're expected to believe that none of them have aged since we last saw them in the mid-'80s. {Spoiler}Well, they haven't really aged all that much since First Class in the 60's. So them still being young-ish in 2018/whatever year DP2 takes place in isn't out of possibility.

Apparently the person who played Vanisher decided to do it on the condition he get the minimum that he's legally required to ask for... and a literal cup of coffee. He also said Ryan had to be the one to get the coffee. Apparently he'd completely forgotten about this by the day of shooting, but Ryan gave him it anyway.

DP2 getting an extended cut on Blu-ray adding 15 MINUTES to the movie, not to mention a bunch of deleted scenes and alternate takes/lines.

Yeah there are some lines that you don't cross. Sure its Hitler and people have done scenarios of him getting killed off since WW2 started, but its a baby.

I’m more than pretty sure that most of the scene will be implied instead of ACTUALLY SHOWING DEADPOOL STRANGLING A BABY TO DEATH.
Like, you see Wade at the crib, they cut to a baby that somehow already has the mustache on him, Wade says something along the lines of “I told you I would go back to kill Hitler”, pan to a spinning newspaper 50 years later with the headline of “WORLD PEACE AMONG MEN!” or something like that. HA!

HA! So here’s the scene. I was right that it’s only IMPLIED and you don’t see him actually strangling a baby. It’s more about when he arrives and then starts getting cold feet and trying to amp himself up to go through with it.

There's also a later scene in which he admits he's not up to the task before vowing to come back with Cable as "He likes killing kids."

So I just watched the extended cut, and it really just felt like an even longer crappy movie. The jokes in this one just do not land, and Cable is handled very poorly. I also feel like they committed character assassination on Colossus for the sake of cheap gags.
No more, please.

Late to the movie party as usual, but I just watched this for the first time yesterday, and absolutely loved it. Far, far better than the first one, which I kind of ended with "ok, I guess that was a good movie". But this one had me laughing for hours after it was over.
About Domino:
Way back when I first heard the character was going to be in this movie, I prepared for disappointment. I felt jaded after disliking so many of the Marvel and X-Men female casting decisions, and the one I was actually thrilled about [January Jones as Emma Frost] ended up being totally wasted. So, I was full on expecting some actress who vaguely looked the part giving a wooden performance. But she ended up being great! Great casting, great writing, great performance- and best of all, they didn't try to have her overshadow everyone else by making the other characters lip-service her as the coolest, hottest, baddest person in the world.
In other news, OMG, JUGGY! All the loves!!!
ETA:
My only minor nitpick is wasting the Black Tom character. In the imdb trivia, it said he was originally planned to have a bigger part but got cut down to put more resources towards Juggernaut, which makes sense. But was a tad f a bummer since he is probably the only comic book character I was genuinely afraid of back when I was a regular reader.
