RIP
Loved when he'd give info before each movie. Mankiewicz isn't bad, but he wasn't Robert Osborne.

Oh man, even though I don't have TCM I'd manage to see videos of him and sorely wished it was on my cable plan. RIP. And I actually know of a Twitter account which pretended to be "undead Robert Osborne" - yet in a weirdly respectful and tasteful way - that just became 500 sorts of awkward now...

TCM is probably my favorite channel. It's almost always at least running in the background. It will be strange not to have him introduce so many of the movies I love anymore. I didn't even realize he was so old though.

The last few years I have really got into old movies as a result I have gained quite the appreciation for TCM. I am certainly going to miss him but on the same token the last few years it was obvious that his health was not in the best of condition.

I absolutely loved his introductions to films on TCM. There was something very classy and timeless about it, and it made you feel as though you were going to watch something special.

He was a wonderful personality for TCM, a great lead in for classic films.

This sucks. Dude knew his shit.
I also laughed whenever Jason Sudeikis played him on SNL.

RIP, always loved seeing him on TMC. As a fellow movie buff, I always enjoyed his info he gave on some of my favorite films and also movies I wasn't familiar with.

He better be on the TCM year end tribute to those who have passed away the past year.
