Yeah...Jason was the best Red Ranger probably the best Power Ranger. I don't know what it is but he "felt" like a leader. I love Tommy but Jason was more of a Leonardo-type of leader. He could do things himself, he could work as a leader too, he worked well off of all the Rangers. Tommy's dope but man it felt like how he was as a leader was thrown off when things changed. He's so expressive that they didn't really have anyone to balance him out. When Jason was around it felt like he was on Tommy's level so he evened things out, even when Tommy became the leader Jason was always that dude. Zack honestly was damn near close to them. Rocky just wasn't a good replacement for Jason.
I'm this damn close to saying Adam should have been Jason's replacement.

IMO Andros is the best red ranger of the Zordon era for really the fact that the inspace team had no mentor and he had to fulfil both the mentor role and leader a new team of rangers and also he goes a step further with what he does at the end of his series.

Well at least she got a semi decent run. Next time someone wants to leave the show is when Tommy and Kat does in Turbo and they replace the whole damn crew Kat's actress denies that she wanted to leave the show. The word that was out was always both Tommy and Kat said they wanted to leave and instead of casting those two over they just replaced everyone. I know she has said before she never said she wanted out and would welcome a return to the show |

Andros was def the best filling the leader and mentor role while also having inner conflict later in the series. |

I never really associated Tommy as the "Red Ranger" despite him being Red for Zeo and Turbo. He got better as a leader come Zeo but by then it was almost over especially with Jason back on board in Black. If they never brought in TJ and the crew I would of liked to see them give Adam the Leader role. He seemed poised for it after all those years being 2nd |
