I kinda wanna say Duke from Haven. There's still some mystery in his pre-show life, but basically half of the show was Nathan and everyone else treating him like a criminal, some of which was deserved, then once he tried to turn his life around and fell in love, the woman gets killed, he gets possessed by some evil dude and has to sacrifice himself to save everyone else... and then comes back as a ghost to STILL save the day further. Agh, such a sad character, heh.

Well, this character got shit on by fans, but I will talk about Raiden from MGS2. He got dumped on because they were hoping to play as Snake throughout the whole game. Okay, I can understand that, but then everyone said that he was too much of a wuss and all that stuff. I never minded the character, actually. But then when the version from MGS4 came out, everyone hopped on the bandwagon that he was all of a sudden a big badass.

Although I will say that it was funny what Konami did with MGS3 with the "I Like MGS2" selection at the beginning of the game.

*Charlie tries to break his hands after suggesting to Chelsea to get breast reduction surgery
*Wants to be friends with Herb, Judith's new husband, but Judith abhors him
*Written out of Charlie's will entirely because Charlie had a vision of Alan enjoying his estate
