My younger nephew joined the same company a year ago. The first few weeks I asked him how he was getting home as he doesn't drive and I do and he said he getting a lift and seem to avoid me in front of my coworkers. Randomly he asked me if he could catch a ride and I said no problem, then the next week a friend of his turned up and gave him a lift and he didn't ask me and ignored me again(waited for me to say bye and doesn't leave with me) I let him just get on with it and won't ever offer him any ride.
The thing is his attitude at my work bothers me. He wants people to think we don't get on or he has a problem with me. He hardly smiles or greets me and when he does it's when certain people are not around. Work is hard enough already and the guy acts like this. At times he seems cool but as soon as you ask him hows things are or just try to be normal he says a few words then walks away. I don't want to continue working with him but at the same time he came into a job I've been doing for 12 years. He also acts like he knowsit all despite his lack of experience.

It was slightly different. I had issues with him then but now after trying my best to make the situation work I still find it awkward hence the reason I'm posting this.
