Does anyone else watch Lucifer?

I'm late to the party once again as I just discovered this show while looking through my Hulu recommendations. I finished the first season in 4 days and I really like the premise of this. Like dude makes absolutely no apologies and gives no f***s about who he is. Even though I have to admit though I'm not religious religious I'm kinda weirded out about kinda crushing on the devil.

I'm considering checking it out. I was put off on it at first because 1., I'm a big fan of the Mike Carey comic and was very disappointed to see this was gonna be completely different, and 2., the preview trailer I saw for it made it look pretty stupid. But since then I've heard good things about it and I'm always in favor of taking liberties with the source material (within reason). Of course then I'd have to find the time to add another show to my already busy schedule.

The best I can compare it to is iZombie as that show is also a weirdly awesome supernatural police drama where a supernatural being is working with a completely human detective.

That's honestly the best thing about coming into stuff late is I've got 16 episodes before I'm caught up.

My mom absolutely loves Lucifer, and I can't argue with her much on it. It relies fairly heavily on the guy playing Lucifer, I think; he manages to be charming, smug as hell, and funny, and makes you forget he's the freakin' Devil. And while it's a cop procedural, I can kinda forgive it for that.

It's not like it's the Rush Hour TV series.

I like how it plays on the "Is the devil/Satan/Lucifer a bad guy? or has myth warped facts"

That was much my reaction back in December to finding out iZombie wasn't coming back until April.

I haven't watched it but any show of this genre has always managed to entertain me. I did like the Joke Supernatural made last season about it.

I've watched all but one episode, I cant watch any more as Lucifer reminds me way too much of someone I used to work with.
