They aren't accusations. He was convicted for it. I was referring to the cameras being installed in toilets, which although he settled the case, I don't think he was ever convicted of anything (other than the Police finding drugs at his house when they searched it). And see I was thinking of the somewhat forgotten Chuck Berry sextape. "Can't kiss ya baby you smell like p***" I forgot about the drugs and cameras in the ladies room.

Not to take away from the loss of Chuck Berry, but this has made it clear to me that when Jerry Lee Lewis dies, it's going to hurt like a motherf***er.

God, to me, Chuck along with Little Richard were the absolute forefathers of Rock'nRoll. That's not taking anything away from the others, but as far as influence, Wow. This one hurts, btw if you ever go to St. Louis there's an awesome statue of Chuck, and his very good friend runs a great restaurant called "Blueberry Hill" which Chuck often performed at up until a few years ago. I never got to see him play, but I was there the day they dedicated the statue and got to see him. R.I.P.

As a human, he had many failings...as an artist, he's quite possibly the most influential American artist ever. Whether they admit it or not, whether they're even aware of it, there's a straight line from every single rock band right back to Chuck Berry.

Whether they admit it or not, whether they're even aware of it, there's a straight line from every single rock band right back to Chuck Berry. It reminds me of when Ike Turner died, or James Brown. Shitty human beings, definite influence and artistic merits.
