Something I always wonder when you saw a commercial for a brand new toy or game how often did you want it?
For me I would say maybe 50% of the time

I never really saw commercials for toys growing up, I would see them in flyers from like JCPenney or Toys R Us.
I would see like X-Men Toys and 99% of the time, I'd want them.
I'd also get toy catalogues in the mail and they had the newer hasbros in there for like $30 a piece.
I ended up with random Adam Bomb and Billy Gunn one Christmas from them.
I do remember seeing Dragon Ball in there as early as 1995 and seeing Super Saiyan 3 Goku under the Super Battle Collection.
I remember being like 11 and going huh, what's Super Saiyan 3? Must be the 3rd time he went Super Saiyan.. Lol Now I know Better.

I had Satellite, I didn't have normal fox, I got Fox from Denver so all the normal cartoons would come at 6am in the morning for me.

Yeah, we still have a satellite dish in our yard. They installed it, we went to cable, they never came back for it.
I remember having to go out there most winters with a push broom to pull snow off of it because it screwed with our reception lol.\\
Seriously, this thing must be 15 foot tall.

I'm sure you're partaking, it's fine, I fixed. My eyes are a little blurry.  Still congrats on 82,000! I remember a time I got to 50,000 and the mods stopped post whoring, went from around that to 27,000 something on an old account. I should talk to Pig about that. |

The house TV was a small black and white TV. So, the full color newspaper inserts got my attention. I loved October when the Sunday newspaper was filled with Target books and Toys'r'us books.
