So we're looking to buy a second car, nothing overly expensive or new. I looked at a Hyundai Tiburon from 2007 yesterday handled nicely and all just had 145 thousand miles on it but only 4 grand, seemed like a solid deal. Gonna look at a 06 mustang GT today that has 90 thousand miles on it guys asking 6 grand.
I'd like some views on this, this isn't a car that is going to get driven into the ground, just give us some flexibility. Anyone have thoughts on these types of cars or anything else similar, I'd like something sporty since my other car is a Kia Soul.

I always liked Hyundai but my gut feeling is that is a lot for a 10 year old Tiburon with that much milage. Go on www.kbb.com and enter some information. Keep in mind this is for trade in price you can always get 500-1500 more selling privately usually. Also check it's VIN to see if it's involved in any accidents or major repairs. Probably doesn't apply since these cars are 10 or 11 years old but a lien report to make sure it's been 100% bought off by the owner so you don't continue finance payments and just ask basic car maintence questions like how old are these tires and seeing how worn they are because no need putting an extra hundred bucks in for a used cars tires unless you can get them offset the cost.

Take it to a shop and have it inspected shouldn't cost mute than around 100.00 it's worth it. It won't catch everything but will find any glaring issues.

Last night I think I found a new favorite car brand..I drove a BMW and that was the smoothest nicest feeling I've ever had with a car. Now to find one that is affordable..
