maybe the experience of time passing is just an illusion of human consciousness. maybe all moments exist, and we just perceive them in a linear sequence. Like how when you look into the sky you are looking into the past, or a being with a super powerful telescope on a faraway planet could see Earth in its pre-human state. If so, we are all dead, but also all alive.
