I actually enjoyed Balto, despite the fact that it's, once again, butchered history.

Blatant historical inaccuracies aside, I love the hell out of this movie.

Pretty meh review. Basically just two jokes over and over.
Also, why do a clipless Suicide Squad review? Thing's been out on DVD for quite awhile now.

So it doesn't get taken down Do his WB movies generally get taken down? I know his Disney ones do.

I only saw the second one and it sucked. They added a bunch of lame songs and the animation quality took a downgrade. It's mega depressing when you remember how great the original film looked. The entire sequence with Balto crying in the snow and meeting the white wolf is stunning. It's ridiculous how well drawn that part is.

You know I always thought this was a Don Bluth film, I mean with all the Dragon's Lair styled environmental hazards that that main character has to put up with in the latter half of the film it would be very easy to make that assumption.

I remember enjoying the first 2 or 3 sequels of LBT, but then got bored with it by the 5th one. But yeah, they don't stand up to the original. That wolf scene in Balto was extremely powerful.

When I saw it as a kid in the theater, I wanted to pet him. BTW, I was actually talking about the Balto sequel (Wolf Quest). But it's so weird how I easily could have also meant any of the Land Before Time sequels.

Haven't seen the sequel to Lady and the Tramp or 101 Dalmations either. I think the only sequel I've seen is Bambi II. And that one was actually decent. Granted, it was a midquel.
